"I was hesitant at first. besides occasionally making it known in social situations that I'm a cancer survivor, I never like to openly talk about my eye. If someone asks I can speak about it, but I wanted to attend the conference to normalize that type of conversation for myself" -

TESTIMONIALS

What others are saying

"Thank you again"

"Thank you so much for putting this together today. I think I didn't realize how much I needed that and how much-needed it will be for me in the future. I will admit it was a bit surreal and emotional for me. It was certainly cathartic. I thought I had worked through a lot in the short time I have had monocular vision but I don't think I was aware of how much I need something like this for my mental/emotional well-being. look forward to the next one! Thank you again."

"That was so worth it"

"Thanks! I'm still collecting all my thoughts about it. I'm sure tons of people have reached out to you about it. That was so coOL to hear from the one eye gang! It went better than I expected from having over 50 people in the same zoom meeting! That's pretty amazing."

"That was so powerful"

"It was a new experience hearing from so many people l could truly relate with. Thank you for putting that together!!! I"m happy I was able to attend. Need to get myself a fun eye one of these days"

"Found it very cathartic"

"Must confess it was a little challenging for me. I tend to be very introverted. That combined with being new to dealing with monocular vision and some of the emotions I wrestle with it was a bit intimidating to join the group.

I am very glad I did and found it very cathartic even though I just kind of observed. I do look forward to the next one"

"My life changed forever"

"Finding a community of people who have gone through the same trials as I have has been so amazing. Listening to the speakers & bonding with the other attendees over our insecurities/challenges was such a powerful and life-changing experience."

"Highly recommend this"

"EYEconnect was incredible.

As many others said, 12-year-old me was happy crying the whole time. Let's be honest, 37-year-old me was tearful as well."
